Bucket List For Your Belly - Denver

Denver Restaurants. Let's talk. I love you, I love you in your ever growing, ever scrumptious, diverse glory. Spring has hit and I have created the ultimate bucket list for your belly.

It's my personal list of Restaurants I must eat at, to satisfy my need to explore this beautiful city through my stomach. And um, lets be real food. All restaurants on the list, I have not been to and look forward to checking off. I will admit this is only a small portion, there are just too many to choose from!

Ramen, I feel like I am one of the few left that hasn't eaten here and let me tell ya I feel the FOMO. The picture above makes my belly growl just looking at it. Uncle is also big brother to Hop Alley, which is up next. This place has just as much positive praise floating around. I'll see you soon.

Two // Pizza //

Okay,  Pizza. Well not just Pizza. Let's start with Fat Sully's. If you're on the Triple D train you have probably heard of this place. Tina, you will be so proud I used that reference and if you don't know what it is. It's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, which I hate to be calling out because well, Guy Fieri. But, this place has delicious pizza of massive size.

Bar dough. They have pizza with intriguing toppings like spicy clams, pistachios, fennel sausage and more. They offer other options like the delicious pasta shown below and other dinner plates. Get in my belly!

Three // South American //

Willcall had me at Arepas. These are delicious Colombian/Venezulen fluffy tortillas filled with yumminess. I have the Chicharron Arepa on the top of my list!

Four // The Works

Brider makes me want to get lunch. Like actually excited about lunch. I heard about this place through a friend and checking out the menu made me want to head off to lunch right then. I also really appreciate a great sandwich. What is it about a great sandwich?
Of course they have other delicious options and there dinner plates get any mouth drooling.

School House Kitchen & Libations is all the rave right now. I hear it's worth the drive to Arvada but reservations required due to the hype. The plates look delicious and they offer an array of options for any appetite.

Five // Because well, Oysters //

They carry oysters but there brunch menu also looks delicious. I have it on my breakfast list. Only downfall is no bottomless. $4.00 a glass, $12.00 carafes. I'm still coming for the menu, and of course the oysters.

  1. Okay, the Spicy Chicken Ramen at Uncle is life-changing and the French Onion Soup Dumplings at ChoLon are a thing of beauty! Actually, you can't go wrong with ANY of those Asian restaurant choices :) Also, no one should go through life without ordering the 26" pizza at Fat Sully's at least one. Adding School House to my list!
