Pom Blue Cocktail

Sometimes you just need an excuse to have a cocktail.

Hard day at work?
Bad hair day?
It's Tuesday and you've made it to noon?
Giiiirl, get yourself a cocktail.

Whatever your excuse, this cocktail is the bee's knees.
I don't usually gravitate towards sweet cocktails but this one has just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming.  Not to mention, it's really refreshing.

What you'll need:
Your vodka of choice, Pomegranate blueberry juice, sparkling water, Kombucha, and some fresh blueberries for garnish.
I grabbed some Titos Vodka but again, use whatever you prefer.

Fill your glass with ice and add vodka until the middle of the glass.  Add sparkling water until the glass is about 2/3 full.
Next up, grab your pomegranate blueberry juice.  I used POM Wonderful for this.  Add until there is about an inch left from the top.  Yep, we're really eyeballin' these measurements.
Now it's time for some Kombucha! Add a couple of tablespoons.  It adds just a little bit of zing to the drink that I feel helps balance out the sweetness.
Side note: Feeling like you need a shower from all of this hard cocktail-making work? Accidentally shake up the kombucha before you open it. You're welcome for the tip.

Now add a few blueberries for garnish. I like to freeze my blueberries beforehand for a little extra chill but it's not necessary.
Pop in a straw and sip away on this blue pom cocktail. Trust me, any excuse is a good excuse. We don't judge.
